Dave and Trish live live in Lerna, Illinois along with Trish's parents Gerry and Barb Klotz. Trish is an NKC Licensed Show Judge and Breed Inspector. Gerry is retired from IBM and a Past President of the Board of Trustees for the Orland Park Fire Protection District. Barb is enjoying watching the grandchildren growing up and looks forward to traveling with Gerry in their retirement.
We live in South-Central Illinois in the relatively small town of Lerna. We are 1.75 hours east of St. Louis, MO, 3.5 hours south of Chicago, IL and 1.5 hours west of Terre Haute, IN. We are easy to locate as we are 7.5 miles from the intersection of I-57 and US Route 45. We have several acres of land in an absolutely serene, rural setting with a pond on our property.
We strive to provide the best in care and atmosphere for our animals (they are all accustomed to a family atmosphere). We are Illinois Department of Agriculture licensed (a requirement if you rescue or foster animals) as well as NKC Licensed. Not all of the animals shown are at our home. Some have been placed with families so they have personalized, loving attention to meet their individual needs and will be having puppies or will sire puppies. Some of the dogs were rescued from less than desireable conditions and we want them to have loving forever homes, so they also have been placed but will never be bred.
