We are now using Potty Park (R) to potty train our puppies. We introduce the puppies at the age of 1 week to this phenomenal new product. Our first two litters have made us 100% dedicated to the use of this product. Within 10 minutes of our TJ (Zirra and Toppers son) being introduced to this product, he was using it for both urinating and defacating! Ironically, after he used the potty, he barked to have it cleaned.
Our other litter from Rainey and Topper also adapted to it immediately. While there were so many more puppies that used it, it took a bit longer to get them all settled into using it. It appears that they feel as soon as one was using it, they all had to use it and there was a flight to the bathroom to get to use it at the same time (sounds familiar huh, just like here, the bathroom is always busy when you want to use it...LOL).
This product is made with antimicrobial and antibacterial materials that are medical grade. There are many other products on the market that are similar but do NOT meet the quality and safety that this product has. We can verify this personally as we bought one of them so we could do a comparison. It is very similar in design to several of the others and we were sorely disappointed in it. The puppies would slip and fall on it as the mat slid off the base, the mat actually ended up sitting in the urine container and allowing the puppies to become saturated in their own wast products, it was aweful. We have none of these concerns with the Potty Park (R). As a matter of fact, we are able to monitor the puppies better with the Potty Park (R) as we can see check their urinary output and the qulaity of it as well as monitor their feces and are able to collect it so much easier when we need to take it in for a fecal check! This benefit will last you a life time as you can check the same items as your dogs grows and keep a good eye on his kidneys and other organs by monitoring his outputs!
We highly recommend this product for you to continue using with your puppy when you take them home. If you purchase your puppy elsewhere, we still recommend the use of this product. The puppies, as well as older dogs, adapt to it quickly and it makes having your pet a pleasure as it takes all the traditional issues of potty training out of the picture. It also gives you the freedom of not having to worry, if you are delayed in getting home, that your pet has to hold his potty needs. Now he can use his Potty Park (R) and not leave a mess for your when you get home! This makes for a much more enjoyable and fun relationship for you and your pet.

We do recommend that you get an additional grass mat so that you can have a clean one at hand when you need to clean your Potty Park (R). This makes clean up so much easier, not that is is hard at all. We simply remove the soil the puppy leave and then wash the grass mat and resevoir with Natures Miracle(R). This is the same product we use when we clean our carpets in the house and it leaves a pleasant, fresh scent.
Just think, you can get a new puppy and not have to worry about the potty training damage that used to go along with it!
