Pedigree RAINEY Back To Females
Rainey joined our family in October, 2005. She was a very sick puppy when we got her due to an infection, but with lots of love she made it through her ordeal.  Our vet had told us it was doubtful Rainey would ever have puppies, but we have been blessed with 19 puppies from her!!  As an additional blessing, Rainey was DNA tested and is a Black Dominant female who will produce TRUE black colored puppies and has given us half her litters in Black!
We started Rainey on her show circuit and she took a Third Place in her age group on January 1st, 2006 @ the 1st Ocala Bulldog Party.  On March 11 she took a Third Place in her age group @ the South Texas Bulldog Showdown in  Texas.

The pictures to the left and above are from the January 2006 Ocala Florida NKC show.  Rainey took a third there.  This was the period of time where she was recovering from her infection and she was very timid about being touched!  Her serious condition is just a reminder of how careful you must be as an owner or a breeder  with your puppies and hopefully she was instrumental in making some people aware of how to treat the type of birth injury she had!
The picture below left is when Rainey was only 14 weeks old and we were trying to find out what was wrong with her.  She was always a little trooper and tried her best even when we thought we were going to lose her due to the septic infection she was suffering from!
The picture below right is Rainey when she came back from the Pearsons. She was gald to come home and getting ready to be a mommy!  Rainey excelled as a mother and even took on 9 orphan puppies we had and an additional 2 that weren't doing well within their own litter.   Every one of the puppies Rainey adopted grew to an astronomical size as did her Princess who is now the apple of her new mommies eye up in Libertyville, IL!
Footnote: While accidents and oversights happen at a kennel, it is essential to be very vigilent and observant of your animals behavior so you can detect a problem before it becomes life threatening or debilitating.
These pictures are from our friends house, Nat & Jamie Pearson, in Amory MS where Rainey did her "Oprah Winfrey" get in shape routine!
