We are so very proud of Basil and the puppies she has produced for us! Basil came to us with her sister Patches in February of 2006. We adopted Patches out in July of 2006 and kept Basil on to have another litter for us. On Christmas Day 2006, she presented us with 8 phenomenal puppies from General Lee. She is an excellent mother and left no stone unturned in caring for those pups. We felt she deserved to be retired from our program and go into a home that would love her and treat her the way she did her pups. We found Dave & Tina Summers and their children of Washington, Missourri. They were the perfect match for Basil. They have bred her one last time to our Red. Basil again presented all of us with a beautiful litter, this time with 3 females and 2 males. She has now been spayed. Tina and Dave will fulfill our vision of Basil in front of a fireplace on a braided rug, this fit right in with what the Summers family had to offer her. They have become Basil's family (as with all bulldogs they own you) and Basil will get the retirement she so greatly deserves. Our thanks go out to the Summers; and Basil, have a GREAT life! |
